Spotlights

Poor visibility? There is a remedy!

Not many ride their Harley in urban environments only. Where the main headlight does not cast enough light on the road, for example, to recognize the deer or wild boar on a lonely road in time, the high beam auxiliary headlight improves visibility by crucial meters. In heavy rain, snowfall or fog, the main headlight often only produces a bright wall ahead. The fog lamp, on the other hand, with its broadly dispersed light, still provides a good view of the next 50 meters of road, and you shouldn't drive faster in weather like this anyway. Take care and arrive later safely. In any case, using auxiliary headlights can help improve visibility and safety in poor weather conditions or on poorly lit roads.

Spotlights - whether round, whether square.

In addition to the classic lamp housings (older form: pointed, newer form: roundish), you can also always find rectangular or triangular lamp housings, of course with the appropriate inserts. For those who don't have auxiliary headlights and brackets, but are seriously thinking about adding some, we offer the Bates Spotlight Kit for FLH, the complete package with bracket, round style lights from 1962 and turn signals.

Which brackets do auxiliary headlights fit on?

Auxiliary headlights are easy to retrofit. They have a central bottom mount, and there are brackets and clamps for the respective front forks. If you don't like the usual Harley mounting location next to the main headlight, you can possibly find a place on the crash bar with frame clamps.
