Why sensors?

Electronically controlled injection systems need data about the operating state of the engine. Engine speed, position of the crankshaft (where is top dead center?), engine cold or warm from operation, throttle wide open or almost closed, is the engine running smoothly on the highway or does it have to pull hard, these are all data that influence the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected.

In order for the ECU to get this data delivered, it has (electrical) contact with a number of sensors.

These sensors can fail or be damaged. Therefore we offer a selection of common sensors. The OEM number and the model assignment in the store will help you to find and select the right sensor. Removal and installation is best done according to the workshop manual.
