Choose from the early version without logo, with screw-on or J-slot connection between the chromed cover and cad/parkerized backing plate, or the later version with stamped logo. They come complete with spring and metal mesh filter element. The J-slot versions with riveted-on inspection plate, too. Correct for model years 1935-1940, however they will fit all Linkert M-series carbs.

Every second Linkert carburetor has one or more stripped threads for the air cleaner backing plate. Getting them repaired to the stock #12-24 thread is not easy but these oversize thread screws solve the problem in no time. You just tap the stripped thread to 1/4”-20 and you´re done. The 3/8” hex head is like stock so once installed you can´t see a difference.
