Risers OEM Replacement

Handlebar holder as original replacement

All Harley-Davidson models with a hydraulic front fork have rubber-mounted handlebar risers, from the Hydra Glide to the Sportster models, FLH, FX Wide Glide, Tourers, Softail and Dynas. Original replacement handlebar holders or risers can be found most easily according to the model information in the store or - if you want to be on the safe side - using the original spare part number, which is indicated with the parts in the store. Source for the number is of course the manual of your model.

Why does Harley say riser?

On the Springer fork, the handlebar brackets and triple clamp were one part. Handlebar replacement is possible only as a whole, unless you own a locksmith shop. By the 1950s many motorcyclists asked for more comfort and less vibration in the hands on long rides. Harley-Davidson met this desire with rubber-mounted handlebar brackets. And because the handlebars were now quite a bit above the triple clamp, the handlebar holders were called risers.
