This handlebar is dedicated to the infamous board track machines of the Teens and 1920s. Only machines of the factory Race Department of Harley-Davidson had these mounted. Due to the pulled-down bar ends you crouch on the gas tank and automatically adopt a racing position, which shoots you back to the starting line of the board tracks of the era.

Handlebars for IOE Twins and early Sidevalves

Inserted into the upper ends of the fork tubes and clamped with the triple clamp, 4-3/4" center-to-center spacing of the risers and both ends of the handlebars set up for twist grips. This is how the early handlebars for IOE Twins, Singles and D, R, V and early W models can be characterized.

The shape itself varies between narrow and wide, between little and much pullback, high or low rise. In addition to the standard handlebars fitted at th etime of delivery, the Factory offered a wide range of handlebar shapes as early as the 1920s: the first custom parts. Our handlebars are manufactured by Faber Cycle, they stand up to our high quality standards and any AMCA judge. For each handlebar here in the store you can find drawings with the most important dimensions, which help to choose.
