Belstaff Women’s Classic Tourist Trophy Jacket

Belstaff Women’s Classic Tourist Trophy Jacket

This is the jacket that started it all. The Belstaff Tourist Trophy was the world’s first water-repellent motorcycle jacket. For generations of weather-beaten motorcyclists this was and is THE jacket and indispensable part of biker culture. While still a classic looking piece the current model of the Belstaff Pure Motorcycle Collection has been improved on some important points:

Base material is still 10oz Wax Cotton fabric, which underwent an impregnation and fixation process. Black pants or fingernails are history. This state-of-the-art treatment guarantees utmost water-repellent protection even under severe weather conditons. At the same time this fabric material is highly breathable, which means no inside condensation and perfect wearing comfort.

Further "up to date" features are the detachable Valtherm lining and removable protectors on shoulders and elbows. Neck collar and cuffs are lined with Corduroy fabric. The jackets has four typical Belstaff patch pockets, on chest and sides, closed with water-protecting flaps. All these characteristics combined with the excellent quality and craftsmanship make the Classic Tourist Trophy the perfect companion for any motorcyclist, for a whole biker life.

Belstaff Jackets

From own experience we recommend to choose Belstaff jackets one to two sizes larger than with other manufacturers.

Waxed Garment

The “wrinkling" of waxed cotton garment happens when the (often new) fabric is bent, folded, worn, etc. Over time this happens less and less. In fact it is not the fabric wrinkling but the wax that leaves these lines at high spots. It is one of the defining characteristics of the product. Like denim, it will break in, develop patina and become very distinctive to the owner.
