What is important in operation?

Shock absorbers or are prone to wear. And because even on fair-weather bies dust and sand can collect on the shock absorber rod, check the shock absorbers for oil leakage during occasional cleaning. Oil leakage means a gradual loss of function of the hydraulic damping. In the same way, take care of the joints. Jacking up the Harley once a year and removing the shock absorbers doesn't hurt. Then you can calmly replace rubbers which have become hard or worn in the mounting eyes and relubricate bearing bushings or spherical bearings.
