KKF: Kustom Kulture Forever cancelled again. Another year without the KKF? No way! Instead of getting mad as a bunch of wet hens, a few Herten KKF regulars got their shit together and organized their own little custom show of dreams. What better location for a bike show than a cool lake on a hot summer weekend. The Kronau Lußhardt lake welcomed some 40 vintage bikes and a couple dozen four wheelers – proof that in this day and age craftily bent steel and vintage paint still rule the passing lane.
We had a mega afternoon,
after boiling the oil for a few hundred kilometers. All went smooth as silk: drinks, food, vibes, it was all there. Well, almost – no swimming trunks in the saddle bag. Bummer!
