The »Tamer« solves a problem that Harley riders know since 1941. The design of the stock clutch hub bearing permits lateral movement of the clutch shell. This causes the clutch to drag slightly when disengaged, which is annoying in heavy city traffic. The easy-to-install Tamer Clutch Retainer holds the clutch shell in the proper position so it won't move when the clutch is disengaged. This also yields reduced gear clash and easier shifting.

This retainer is designed to hold the clutch shell in place, permitting more clearance between the clutch discs, and allowing complete and positive disengagement of the spinning discs. Especially recommended in combination with our Big Fix clutch bearing on bikes with belt drives.

The Big Fix bearing kit replaces the prehistoric caged roller bearings and solves clutch hub bearing problems in a flash. It eliminates chatter and creeping as well as lateral clutch movement when it is disengaged. After installation the clutch shell is running on 300% more bearing surface!
