Panhead Parts

When the Motor Company introduced its latest ohv Big Twin engine in 1948, almost immediately nicknamed Panhead for obvious reason, it was accepted enthusiastically by all H-D aficionados until its production end in 1965. However, it started a second and probably more important career in 1969 when it starred in the cult movie Easy Rider as the powerplant of Dennis Hopper’s and Peter Fonda’s choppers. The rest is history.
