Oberon Performance

Oberon was formed mainly manufacturing for the marine and hose fitting industries producing fine tolerance parts. The company also launched a number of own brand products under the Oberon brand, but OEM was how it was known at that time. Both directors are keen motorcyclists, one of whom purchased a new motorcycle and in the short journey back from the dealership to Oberon was already planning on modifications. The next few weeks led to frustration, not being able to find good quality engineered products that actually fitted or even worked in the way expected. 'Right I will make the bits myself, that way we can style and machine them to the exact standard required.'

And so it began, and still to this day Oberon Performance design, manufacture and market their range of motorcycle accessories. Every single part is made in own production workshops in Havant; each new part then is fitted and tested by one of the founding directors. All the staff within Oberon are motorcycle enthusiasts. How many companies can say that? All of the team actually use the products, because it helps understand what works well, and what doesn't. Then the product can be further improved until it meets exacting standards.
