Barnett Front Drum Brake Cables

The outer spiral of these Bowden cables is much shorter than the inner cable, as on the indicated models the cable is guided in rigid tubes aling the lower fork tube.
If you like smooth and hasslefree cable action, choose on of these cables also for your Springer fork application. Select according to outer spiral length and cut inner cable according to your need.

Front drum brakes K-model, Sportster and FX models.

The K model appeared at Harley-Davidson in 1952 and was Harley-Davidson's first large motorcycle with a hydraulic front fork. The 1952-1963 half-hub drum was the technical standard at the time. The English competition, at which the K model was aimed, also had them. By 1964 technology and customer demands had advanced, and the Sportster got a full-hub drum. The FX also took over the front wheel and brake of the Sportster with its telescopic fork.
