Brake Pedal Pads

Brake pedal rubbers and pads made of metal

Slippery when wet also applies to brake pedals completely made of steel. The factory addressed the problem with embossed knurls, but rubber pads are a safer solution. When rubber became less scarce after WWII, Harley-Davidson offered rubber pads with metal reinforcement as accessories. They fit earlier model years, too, of course. Parts books show clutch rockers without pads until production end in 1978. Brake pedal pads are listed from 1979 onwards for the FLH and from 1980 onwards for the FLT.

Which brake pedal pads does W&W Cycles offer?

Pedal rubbers for the brake and clutch pedal as original replacements without brand logo for FL and FX models, or with The Cyclery logo, or in custom designs like the Beck rubbers from the 50s and from Mooneyes.
