CRS GP35 Racing Forks

This telescopic fork is designed after the legendary Ceriani GP racing front end that was standard equipment on XR und XRTT 750 factory and production race bikes for more than a decade. In racing this is a very long time which speaks for the outstanding capabilities of this design.

The CRS reproduction features many updates compared to the original Ceriani fork. It works via shim stacks, in lieu of a simple damping piston and rod. The main difference between the two systems is the damping/velocity characteristics: The old one works progressive, which is pretty uncomfortable: at slow motions too mushy but at high speed movements too harsh. The modern version works linear with a state-of-the-art damping system similar to modern superbikes with big piston forks. The triple trees with integrated 1” handlebar clamps and the lower legs are machined from billet aluminum. Weight is about 4.5kg less than a stock 35 mm Narrow Glide fork which emphasizes the sporting nature of the GP35 front end. Use narrow aluminum hubs and corresponding disc brakes or drum brakes. The handlebar mounting clamps are spaced at 75 mm (center to center) so they will easily accept narrow base handlebars. Caliper brackets and anchors must be fabricated.

The selection includes a fork which is intended for lighter weight bikes with a dry weight near 220 kg and a fork for heavier bikes up to 260 kg.
